Perry Hill Elementary Back To School Night

Greetings Perry Hill Families, 

I am beyond excited to get the new school year started! I can't wait to meet the Perry Hill students and families.  I wanted to send out a quick email to give a few reminders as we approach the new school year.  

This Friday, August 2nd, PowerSchool will be updated and you will be able to see which teacher your student has for the 2024-2025 school year. 

Back-To-School Night is Monday, August 5th. Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades will be from 5:00pm-6:00pm. 3rd, 4th and 5th grades will be from 6:00pm-7:00pm. Please bring your school supplies.  You will be confirming your child's transportation schedule with his/her teacher.  Please bring any medications and drop them off at our clinic. 

You should have already received communication regarding your inter-school transfer requests.  If you have not been notified of this information, please reach out to Mr. Miner (caleb.miner@nacs.k12.in.us) for further information. 

NEW THIS YEAR:  Device protection plan is $25 per year per student.  Returning NACS students MUST ENROLL in this program prior to September 1, 2024.  After September 1, 2024, enrollment will be closed and families will be invoiced for the full cost of any repairs.  You can submit payment for this by credit/debit card using RevTrack, at Northwest Allen County Schools - Technology Home (nacs.k12.in.us) (https://www.nacs.k12.in.us/technology). 

You can put money on your child's lunch account thru Meal Magic. 

Please remember to call the office by 8:30am to report an absence for your child. 

OUR FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL IS WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 7TH!!!!!   School starts daily at 7:45am and dismisses at 2:30pm.  Parent drop off begins at 7:25am when staff are outside and ready.  It is a good idea for your student to have a water bottle that is labeled with their name to use throughout day.  WE HAVE NEW DROP OFF AND PICK UP ROUTING THROUGH THE PARKING LOT.  I will be sending out a video of the new layout later this week.  We are hoping this helps to alleviate some of the traffic issues on Coldwater Road.  We will have some assistance in the parking lot on the first day to make sure everyone understands the new traffic flow pattern.
