Math Bowl
Who: Mrs. McCudden will be coaching 4th and 5th graders who would like to join Math Bowl! If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to email me at [email protected]
What: Students will prepare for the math bowl competitions at our after school practices by playing math games and completing challenging practice problems. We’ll have an in-house competition where everyone can compete as well as have an area competition to compete against other elementary schools.

- Tuesday, February 20th 2:30-3:30-Practice
- Thursday, February 22nd 2:30-3:30-Practice
- Tuesday, February 27th 2:30-3:30-Practice
- Thursday, February 29th 2:30-3:30-Practice
- Tuesday, March 5th 2:30-3:30-Practice
- Thursday, March 7th 2:30-3:30-Practice
- Tuesday, March 12th 2:30-3:30-Practice
- Thursday, March 14th 2:30-3:30-Practice
- Tuesday, March 19th 2:30-3:30-Practice-In-House Competition
- Thursday, March 21st 2:30-3:30-Practice
- NO PRACTICE THE WEEK BEFORE OR DURING SPRING BREAK (3/25-4/5)
- Tuesday, April 9th -Area Math Bowl Competition (only 20 students, Location TBA, 5:30pm)
Where:
- Practices will take place right after school in Mrs. McCudden’s room. Students will need to bring a note to school each practice to let their teacher know they are allowed to stay. They will need to be picked up at Perry Hill at 3:30pm.
- Everyone will get to compete at our In-House Competition. Only 20 kids will be able to compete in the area competition which will take place at a local school. Students will need to have their own rides to and from that competition.
